STREAMGROOMER MANAGER

StreamGroomer Manager is an all-in-one appliance for centralized management of Streamcore solutions. 

Centralized management improves efficiency, simplifies operational processes, and ensures the reliability and standardization of your application delivery management and control strategy. It also automatically consolidates the statistics generated by the StreamGroomers. This global approach to performance management guarantees continuous adaptability and provides an accurate view of WAN infrastructure and application performance.

 The SGM hosts a set of Web applications for configuring and operating StreamSense features:

  • SGMconf : Administer SGM system and security, manages software suites, performs software updates and database management tasks.
  • StreamView : Administer centrally all StreamGroomers; provisions IT organization, sites, and infrastructure or application rules; use real-time monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • StreamReport : Defines, schedules, views, and sends (email) reports in various formats (PDF, CSV for example)
  • StreamDashboard : Defines and manages spersonalized Web portals for long-term reporting
  • StreamAccess : Flexible access rights management to easily share information and grant customized access to the different SGM applications: StreamView, StreamReport, StreamDashboard.

Streamcore's appliances are loaded with StreamOptimizer software that combines the functions of Monitoring, Reporting and Active Traffic Management (QoS and Compression):

The SGM capacity is determined by the number of sites and applications to be managed (i.e. by a total number of rules).
