Real-time WAN infrastructure, application and VoIP indicators are automatically collected and consolidated on the StreamGroomer Manager (SGM) to provide an overall picture of any changes on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

These long-term statistics provide visibility into both technical details for operations teams and business-oriented data for decision-makers.  

Business Service Management

Take advantage of Smart Service Tree capabilities to group sites according to the enterprise organization. Powerful and flexible statistical data mining capabilities on categories are available to provide high-level information. Simply turn complex technical information into summarized and easy-to-understand information for stakeholders.For instance, you can display:

• Average service level for business applications or VoIP, for each Business Unit or each country
• Top 10 sites with the most users or consuming the most bandwidth for a specific application
• Top 10 applications used by a specific geographic entity

Automated PDF Reports

The StreamReport application can be used to generate automated reports on a regular basis by processing all of the recorded statistics. Report fields (categories or sites, network/application/VoIP/video performance) are fully customizable for complete across-the-board visibility for decision makers and network managers. They can be generated in various formats (e.g. PDF, HTML…) and sent by email.
Selecting the information to be included in a report is highly automated. A subset of sites can easily be selected by choosing specific categories, or automatically selected if they suffer from particular performances issues (e.g., most overloaded access links, worst response time for a specific business applications, worst MOS, etc.).
CSV reports can be generated for billing purposes, containing information such as consumed bandwidth or data volume per business unit or country.

Turnkey Web Portals

The StreamAccess application provides intuitive and flexible access rights management. Users can be granted access to pre-defined Web portals displaying different types of information such as long-term graphs, real-time statistics, troubleshooting tools and parameters. The site perimeters can also be customized restricting access to only the sites belonging to a business unit, a specific country or geographic location.

With StreamDashboard, you can also build a la carte personalized dashboards including a selected set of graphs, letting the users choose the time period they would like to review. The views can mix any kind of graphs, whether business-oriented, engineering-oriented or related to the WAN infrastructure or applications. Moreover, users can display two different time periods and compare trends or unusual activity.

Smart Netflow Export

A per session history can be recorded by activating the Netflow export on the StreamGroomers. Advanced and automated export filtering mechanisms can restrict the history to sessions related to specific applications or network traffic exchanged with a specific remote site.
