Streamcore solutions allow organizations to manage and provision services over the WAN in an automated, adaptive and intuitive way. Visibility and control services per site management and StreamGroomers management are clearly distinguished:

Smart Service Tree

Streamcore makes service management easy and flexible by making all information available through its Smart Service Tree:

• Whether this information is located on the SGM (statistics or configuration database) or on a StreamGroomer (real-time statistics),
• Whether this information is related to a site equipped with a StreamGroomer appliance or without.

Streamcore’s unique technology provides a flexible drill-down approach ranging from high level business-oriented views to very granular troubleshooting statistics.

Streamcore solutions present services in a business-oriented, logical view mapped to the IT organization, to make the most relevant information available to users, regardless of how many StreamGroomer appliances are deployed or their locations. For instance, hundreds of sites can be managed and grouped per business unit, even if appliances are only installed at the main corporate and regional data centers.

This can be achieved by defining the sites to be managed and by assigning sites to categories related to business units, geographic location or WAN access type. Once these categories have been defined, provisioning tasks or seeking information on network, application or VoIP performance becomes quite simple. For instance, you can:

• Select a subset of sites in a report belonging to a specific business unit in a specific country

• Assign a group of application rules to sites belonging to specific categories

• Follow business application performance per business unit or per geographic region

Management remains intuitive and simple, even for complex networks with hundreds or thousands of branch offices:

• Managed sites provisioning is centralized, automated and can be performed with an easy-to-use Excel file import/export feature.

• Application management can be customized per business unit or per country. Any change (e.g., new applications, new QoS policy, etc.) can be applied to the overall network in a few simple clicks.

• The underlying technology enables adaptive and automated control based on each session's behavior per Streamcore’s ABBA engine (Application Behavior Based Analysis).

• QoS policy configuration is simplified and incorporates business-oriented logic.

StreamGroomers Management

The StreamGroomer Manager manages all StreamGroomers using tools that are easy to navigate: StreamGroomer status dashboard, Inventory, Alarms log, Actions (e.g., software download, reboot) on multiple StreamGroomers.

Initial configuration and basic operations can be performed by plugging a USB key in a StreamGroomer and restarting it. Deploying a StreamGroomer is very straightforward. Reconfiguring a StreamGroomer at a remote site is easy and does not require any IT staff on-site.
