Streamcore helps enterprises and service providers deploy network optimization technology to accelerate, manage, and control the performance of business-critical applications. 

Streamcore’s beginnings can be traced to a strong working partnership with R&D teams at France Telecom. The resulting technology has given Streamcore unrivaled technological superiority and market success in Europe, where deployment of complex MPLS networks is more mature.

Founded within France Telecom Labs by key contributors to X.25 and xDSL protocols, the technology is patented worldwide for IP Acceleration, Fair Share/Service, and “Virtual Queue/Session” management.

With over 23 million euros in funding since inception (including recently closed B round for 6 million euros), the company was created in 2003 by a highly experienced team of professionals from France Telecom, Concert, BT, Cap Gemini, and MCI.

Streamcore’s technology is mature and proven. The company’s WAN acceleration algorithms have seven years of development and improvement. Currently on the fifth generation of software and the fourth generation hardware, Streamcore has more than two hundred fifty customers worlwide, and 20 000 systems deployed internationally..
